EFX loop in Roadster... DO I NEED line level?!?

my stomp boxes seem to be overloading in the efx loop, even with the send turned down...

do line level effects make a BIG difference in the effects loop...

should I be looking for 'serious' effects to get the right sound; ie., TC Electronics rack gear or even the Nova series?

Line level turns up and down the volume of things in you FX loop, but also tweaks the sound of you channels too. Try it, zero out the line level and you'll see the overall volume of you amp has decreased. I think most people (myself included) set this to noon. Enjoy!

hey . I only own 1 line level effect and thats a moog ring mod. All my other pedals are standrad and I dont have any problems. The DR is actually the 1st effect loop I've ever liked using . I have the send and mix at 50% and it sounds great and i like to play pretty wet if i'm using delay or whatever
