He got positive feedback on an EB bass that went for like $800. That's a plus.

If it were me buying, I'd like to see some more detailed pics. If I'm buying something that expensive, I ask for pics of some random part that no one in their right mind would steal from someone else. You know? Like the inside of the V1 power tube socket. Or the pin arrangement on one of the pre tubes. Something really random that isn't a general picture of the amp. That way, the person almost has to have the amp. Doesn't mean you won't get screwed, but at least you know they actually have the amp.

They mention they're not a dealer anymore. If you buy an amp from a store that's not a dealer then there's no warranty, correct? I know the listing says full-factory warranty, but I'd make sure.

I think he's from harmony central. Don't remember for sure. If it's him, he should be ok. They stopped dealing mesas so theyre selling the remainder for cheap. Don't take my word for it though.

After what I've gone through, I would never buy from anyone without 2000 coverage.

hmmmmmmmm. didn't know about that rule.

Yep. If you buy an amp under warranty from an individual and they send the paperwork to Mesa the warranty can be transfered. However, if you that person sells it to a music store - then you buy it - you're SOL.

Once again, I don't know if it applies in this case, I'd just make sure before I bought. No matter what they say.
