I own a Dual Recto Head, and recently I bought an Advance Midi Switcher S720 (www.advancetubetech.com).It works great using the 5 jack External Switching connection on the rear panel of the recto.
But...my Midi Switcher has a SUB-D 15 Pins Port which "duplicates" all the connections for switching(you can see the pinout for this port on the Advance Site...)

My question: I want to create a single cable connecting this SUB-D Port of the Advance Switchet to the Dual Recto Footswitch connection(it ia a Midi female connector, even if it's NOT a midi connection) to eliminate the Jack connections. Is it possible?Anyone knows how to do it?
I need the pinout scheme for the FootSwitch connector, so I can create This cable(even the BigFoot scheme would be good...)
Thanx!
And...sorry for my bad english...I'm Italian...

i know that axess electronics sells a cable specifically for this, BUT I imagine it only works with their products. Send the owner an Email and he may be able to help you.

the company is axess electronics:

the owner is mario, he's very helpful. i just ordered the CFX4 with the custom cable for my dual rectifier. if you go to his website he has a contact page. ask him if his custom cables will work with your device. good luck!

I will try to ask him for the pinout...I've seen the AE cable, but the connector on my switcher is very different...so i'm still searching for the schematich of the footswitch connector...
Thank you!

LOOK INTO AN AMP GIZMO.... SAME THING FUNCTIONALLY AS THE AXESS EXCEPT EASIER TO USE AND CHEAPER.... PLUS THEY HAVE A SPECIAL CABLE THAT WILL PLUG INTO THE FOOTSWITCH JACK INSTEAD OF HAVING A TON OF CABLES ALL AROUND.... BOTH THE AMP GIZMO AND THE CABLE GO FOR AROUND $350.... http://www.rjmmusic.com/ampgizmo.php

I don't know how you figure it's cheaper or easier? The (Axess) CFX4 is $165 and the custom cables are $30-$50 depending on amp model.

It took me 10 min. to have my CFX4 up and running. With theCFX4 and my G-Major I'm MIDI controlling six functions of my Roadster.

i paid $240 for my CFX4 with custom cable and shipping. it did take a couple of weeks but that's cause mario had to build the cable. it's well worth the wait!!!

it did take me longer to figure it out but that's cause i'm new to MIDI. once i mario explained it to me (very patiently) i can program anything in seconds.

i think if you go with axess you're also paying for the service, which is top-notch!

next up is the GRX4 :)

Im sure the amp gizmo controls all things on the roadster.

I know for the roadking it controls 4 channels and the reverb, 2 loops and solo boost.
