Hey Boogie users!
I`ve purchased my new 3 channel Dual rectifier and a T.c electronic G system and I have a problem... I have it set up with the 4 cable method, set the wet knob and send knob to 100% and it still sounds so much different than bypassed... it loses punch, power, bass frequencies mostly in channel 2 and 3 .. dont really know how to describe it. So I have been told that it could be due to the parallel fx loop and the phase cancellation issue... but when I mute the signal on the g system (tuner) the dry signal is really not loud and I really cant imagine that it affects the sound so much when playing in the band... What do you think? I dont want to mod the amp realizing afterwards that it wasnt a problem caused of an parallel fx loop... so

1. Do you think the parallel fx loop is the only problem?
2. Would a mod to serial fx fix the problem?
3. Do you have any hints or tipps how to get a good sound (recto + g system)

thank you very much and I would really appreciate your help because Im a bit frustrated after buying this great equippment and getting this ****** tone.
Sorry for my bad English,
Regards,
Manuel Villavieja from Spain

Hey man... you are on the wrong forum. There is a much better board for what you are going through. Have you tried the TC forum? Check the G-System area and that forum is littered with posts from guys like you with Mesa's and G-Systems. Check the posts from a guy named Laird Williams. He actually wrote a white paper (that he will send you for free) that is written better than the TC manual. You will be amazed when you go there and look at the posts.

Here is the link to the G-System area. It will save you (not joking) DAYS of wasted time trying to set the levels on your own.
