Dual-Rec Pre-amp Kits?

Has anybody tried any of these Mesa Dual Rectifier Pre-amp kits?

Whatford valves out of the uk offer these Cryo pre-amp revalve kits which claim to improve tone somewhat.

Dougs tubes offers a pre-amp kit also which has a different tube in every position.

I play punk/metal style guitar with alot of palm mutting and so on.

I am very curious if anyone has tried these kits or can suggest any other option for the preamp.

The only "Kit" that I tried was the High Gain kit for my LSC, and I loved it!!! The pre-amp kits kind of take the guess work out of buying pre tubes, Example: "Gosh, I'm thinking of changing the way my amp sounds, what should I do?" WELL, (Blank) tube vendor sells this kit that gives more gain, or takes some raspy highs out, and that way some of the guess work out of it. Cheers.

i just got my kit from dougstubes today and put them into my racktifier. they sound great and i am very pleased. it is quieter than before as well in terms of noise.
