Hi,i got a 3 channel Dual Rectifier a couple of weeks back and i'm just getting to grips with it.I read here about reducing the loop send and raising the front output to get a slightly better sound, i tried it and i think it sounds better but its a bit hard to tell at room volume,i also put a GE-7 in the loop to add some lower mids and just roll the top end off a bit, this does sound better again at low volume,i also tried turning the loop mix up to full which really thickened things up,again this sounds good at indoor volume,i have yet to try it at gig volume.

does anyone know what if anything is actually happening by changing the loop controls or am i just changing the volume from a different knob!

sometimes i think i just hear what i want to hear if you know what i mean!i know the eq will make a difference but will raising the front output and reducing the loop send actually make any difference?

cheers Mick. :D

I think that you are .just changing volumes, but on the other hand if you like it, don't worry about it. Wait till you get up to gig volume, that is where this amp really shines
