Trying to figure out why I'm having problems with a new modification to my setup. In theory in my head it should work, but in practice it isn't.
Setup being used without any problems at all:
PRS Tremonti -> Line 6 wireless -> tuner-> Morley wah-> MXR Noise Gate->input of Mesa Dual Rec
Effects loop several effects running through Carl Martin Octa Switch, including Phase 90, Boss Chorus, EQ, TC Flashback x4.
The Octa Switch has also been switching my Mesa channels, there are two outputs on the Carl Martin, one goes to Clean channel 1 and one to Channel 3 red.
I recently purchased a Radial ABY http://www.tonebone.com/re-bigshot-aby.htm with the hope of being able to switch between all three channels on the Mesa, but alas, does not seem to work. Tried output of Carl Martin going into Radial and out to two seperate channels of Mesa, and other CM output going to the final channel, but all I get when I press the Radial is a flicker on one channel's LED, while it remains on the channel it was previously on. Any ideas on whether this could or should work with this piece of equipment, and if not, is there something similar that may do the job?
I was hoping for the Octa Switch to be able to switch between all three channels using the Radial, so ideally, Radial switches between Channels 1 and 2, and Octa switches between 1/2 and 3.
