These are some clips for ibanez to hear the cleans and get a basic idea of the distortion.

**please put on headphones unless you have nice speakers. my computer speakers are garbage and don't do it justice**

The technical aspects:
-recorded with a Nikon digital camera. couldn't get my buddy's protools for this. CAMERA = CHEAP RECORDING GEAR! So beware!
-tubes are stock str420's and stock 5u4g
-also stock mesa 12ax7 preamps and a spax7 in the v5 (dont ask why)
-guitar is a crappy esp ltd w. cheapo-duncan JB and 59 pickups. it's what i had around at the moment.
-amp is the Oversized version with V30s. amp is much tighter in person than in the clip. when i say tight, I mean tight for a DR!!! not a mark!

the clean tones are the emphasis here. the output is pretty weak. there's very little punch and clarity when you play a chord. nothing like my mark2c+. however, by trying the settings i talk about in the video, it helps out a lot. If you're not a clean tone perfectionist, then this shouldn't bother you too much.

the distortion speaks for itself.

i actually played open Gmaj, Dmaj, Cmaj. to show you guys the clarity on the distortion. Also played some weird jazzy like chords to show the note separation.

I don't get it if the recording camera is cheap so the sound is too why do you make this clip?
I saw a thousand members posting their clips telling that the sound is bad !
So if the sound is bad what is the purpose of posting their bad sounding clips ?

so people can get an idea of the sound. if you don't want to listen to it, you don't have to. this is for ibanez to listen to the clean tones because he was aksing me about the clean tones.

but if the sound is bad it will be a wrong idea !
I want to hear it but with a good sound.
Why does ibanez want to hear it with a bad sound? :?:

no I didn't,
If you start saying that the clip is bad why should I linten to it ?
Thats why I' m so curious about it

it's a disclaimer so people don't say "you need more bass or you need more treble, you need more XYZ" or "cut XYZ." the camera adds its own flavor to the mix.

just like any $300 microphone.

Can you point out exactly where in my post i specifically said the clip is bad?

Jesus christ sombra, go back to were you came from and this time flush..and while you're at it, go take a course in english and manners. You arrogant dirt bag

ELPELECTRO-COOL CLIPS !

Sounds like a recto should, I could never dial my 3ch that way. Cool clips man, thanks for sharing!

I noticed after playing and hearing the clips through my computer that my tubes are about to die. The amp should have been a lot louder based on the volume settings I had set in. So, needless to say, the amp was not functioning at full efficiency.

But you still get an idea of the sound. It's a lot heavier in person, especially when I increase the gain past 12.

You must have a really good ear. I usually play and don't notice it until I blow a fuse.

yeah when i listened to those clips last night i thought something sounded a bit off with the sound...replace those tubes and then make some more clips :)

btw, that's a beautiful amp sir.
