Hey gang,

Since I cant seem to mike a cabinet to save my life, I'm testing Guitar Rig as a cab simulator. I used a Hot Plate as a speaker load, so this was real quiet.

Les Paul -> DR -> Digi002 (via DR slave out) -> Guitar Rig.

I threw in some drums and bass for context, no eq on the DR, channel 3, modern.

Whatcha think?

I like it. Thanks for sharing. Very crisp on the highs and upper mids. Bottom not mushy, but I would have liked a little more "chunk" in the bottom myself. What kind of pickup is in your Paul?

Thanks guys - I agree, more chunk would be nice. I've got a GZ34 rectifier tube in place of the stock for less mush in tube rectifier mode, but I am still tweaking. The Les Paul has stock BurstBucker Pros and they are very bright. Hot too - very Boogie friendly :)
