Doug's tubes

I wouldnt doubt they are off the same boat. Doug wont steer you wrong with the Shuguang's and (already said this before) if your a hard core"gotta have JJ's" he sells them as well.
He was buring in like 150 EL34 wing C's ,and only came up with 2 sets that were spec on for my Bogner XTC. Definatly a man of his word.

FYI Doug recommended;
SED winged =C= 6L6GC's
Tung-Sol reissue in V1,
JJ ECC83S high gain in V2
9th gen Shuguang 12AX7C's the rest of the way

Does anyone know where Mesa gets their Chinese 12AX7's. They may be Shuguang 9th generation. That could save you $30 or so.

I just put this same tube setup in my Nomad 55 tonight and tried it out.(except mine has a balanced Sovtek in V5) It flat out kicks *** over the stock tube set. It's much warmer. smoother and more expressive. I'm getting another set for backup when I get the scratch together. Doug has hit a homerun with this set IMHO.
