Hey man, no problem either way. Just clarifying my part. No, it ain't a great verb. Just want to be sure it's working right. Seems like if it's integrated in the high-gain circuit, that can't be good in general.
 
Just wanted to wrap this thread up. I went to a GC here in NYC today and they had a Mark IV combo. I would guess about 5 years old. It's reverb behaved exactly as mine does on the clean channel so I'm good with what Mesa and my tech told me. And that was that it's normal for the reverb on this model.
