My Mk V sounds like an *** with a sparkledrive that my royal atlantic loves???

Does your Mk v like pedals?

I have a Satchurator, Zen Drive, and Plimsoul. None sound good with the amp. I AM able to use an RC Booster but that's just a clean boost I use for single coils. Non-dirt pedals work fine.

Fortunately, all of the channels sound great so it doesn't bug me that much.

It truly depends on the pedal...don't depend on any previous favorites. Try out each pedal and trust your ears! This amp has a completely different relationship with pedals than any other amp I've ever played. You have to do your homework if you want to reach the mountaintop of tonal bliss re:pedals and the V!

I am using in front of the amp - Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah --> MXR Custom Shop Script Phase 90 --> Red Witch Chorus --> EP Booster

In the loop I have a TC Electronics Flasbback

Those pedals work great

I also used a Visual Sound H20 Chorus and that worked great also

I have a TS-9 that I'm selling because of how bad it sounds in front of CH1 fat channel. It sounded great when I played fender amps and guitars, but terrible with PRS 513 and MKV.
