The more I play my Dual Rectifier, the more I realize how much I like Reverb on the cleans.

I am leaning toward selling the DR and getting a Roadster but have some questions:

1. Does the Roadster have the same Reverb switching delay when changing channels that the Lonestars are famous for?

2. Has anyone had any problems with thier Roadsters?

I had one of the very 1st ones and it was laiden with problems, but I can't remember if it had the Reverb glitch or not!
If it does, then a great plan B for me might be to get another HB or DC-10 and use a pedal to get the Recto crunch.

Mine doesn't have the reverb glitch thing. Maybe you are running an odd reverb settings between two channels? I haven't experienced any reverb glitches with mine, except on some extreme settings. One thing though, the reverb splashes over so to speak, so maybe two extreme settings on two channels might cause that reverb glitch you are referring to...

The circuit on the Lonestar is designed to buffer the Reverb splash or spill-over when changing channels.
They all have it from the factory. Basically, it cuts the wet signal from the Reverb off for a second or so when changing channels to prevent a crashing noise from happening.

The Roadster I had would do something strange when reverb was on and switching to channel 2 - but only channel 2. The reverb would do like a swell type sound then return to normal. I talked to Mesa about it and they didn't think it was a 'problem' or that anything was 'wrong'. If you were playing straight through it you wouldn't really hear it, but if you were not playing or playing single notes you'd hear it. Odd! It is certainly not a deal breaker though. Wonderful amp if you a professional musician!

Here's two videos I made while I had the Roadster - you might have seen them:
