Do any of you guys know how to squeeze this tone out of a Mesa Roadster?

It sounds like a fuzz pedal. I think you could get close on vintage or modern by dropping the mids, increasing the treble, gain, and bass, decreasing the presence, and rolling down your guitars tone knob.
 
I picked up a Catalinbread SFT a few months back. I got quite a few good tones, but am still working at the grainy doom sound. Thought about adding a power attenuator and a cab full of greenbacks for the break up factor.
 
Dont know about the roadster but its actually pretty close to the sound I get when i run my zvex fuzz factory in front of my dual rec on a pretty already gained channel 3 modern

Thats an easy one. Sell your Roadster and get a single channel beast-of-an-amp like their Sunn Model-T's and a Big Muff!
 
Tune your guitar down to z-flat and let your friend who doesn't actually play cut a track. It should sound EXACTLY like that. :wink:
