Do I want to trade my Mesa Mini rec ?

Do I want to trade my Mesa Mini rectifier for a new multi watt Mesa dual rectifier? I have not had a chance to play the new dual rectifiers. Any advice would be appreciated.

Watch the YouTube video by Haggerty's Music Works. They compare a Mini Rec and a Dual Rec. It's also a very good video to show just what a difference the power section makes in an amp. Mesa does the Mini Rec with EL84's - comparatively they have the Lonestar Special with the exact same preamp as the Lonestar Classic, again just with EL84's. IMO I like the DR's tone just slightly better, but given the choice, I'd pick the Mini Recto.

Don't get me wrong I loved my Mini allot. I did make the trade do to the fact I can get more tones and it does have ALLOT MORE low end thump for metal. And the bold and spongy options are great. I have had over 30 amps over the years and Mesa is for me.
