Not sure if this is the right section but here you go:

I bought a Mesa Quad recently and it didn't come with a FU-2 so I needed to build something temporary to control the quad. The components cost me about 60€, the switches were the most expensive. The chassis I got for free. I think it turned out quite nice. Oh and they are all just basic latched switches so in order to change the channel I need to press 2 buttons.

Hey, looks good.

I'm getting the parts for my Mark IV diy switcher tomorrow, but mine is somewhat more complicated, so it will take a few days before i'll put some pics up.

What kind of paint(black) did you use btw?

Take a look at this earlier post of mine:

I am building a switch myself that controls all the 6 functions f the mark 4.
You could easily add the reverb for a b version.

So you can switch these things:

Rhy 1
Rhy 2
Lead
EQ
FX Loop
Class A/Simul Class

So you have an extra option that the stock switch doesn't have.

And i wont need to step again on the channel knob to go back, i use two flip flops icm with momentary switches and relays, so if you are on rhy 2 and you step(set) on lead, rhy 2 will automaticly go off(reset).

Costs of the parts are around €50,-($70,-), unlike the 250 bucks mesa switcher.

If anybody's interested, here's the scheme(Channel part).
Leave the 4th button, relay and jack input away(thats for a 4 channel like the quad):

And the 3 other buttons for FX, EQ, Simul(1 showed):

Design by Aad form www.gitaarnet.nl/forum.

You won't have to press two buttons with this design.
Just add one extra switch for the second EQ.

I don't have the facilities to make a pc board and this is only temporary until I can get a midiswitcher and a midi foot controller. I used a normal gloss black spray paint.

I'm not making a PC board too, i mount the parts on a turret board.

But its just an idea, and much cheaper than the midiswitcher.

Hi Aart,

The links seem to b dead links, does anyone else have the PDF files or the links they can repost?

Thanks,
