hi all,

I'm new to the forum, just got myself a Mesa boogie dual rectifier and of course I love it, the thing is that it doesn't have a footswitch and I can't seem to find one for a decent price, I built before a footswitch for my 5150ii and was easy as the 7din pin layout is on the web and was a starting point, does any one know this layout or knows where I can find it?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

Have you tried contacting Mesa? They are very accommodating and I'm sure they will give you the info you need.

You could also just use the external triggers.

So I contacted Mesa and they gave me the info I needed, now I started to believe that the circuit is very similar to the nomad circuit with the addition of the mute channel.

I need further research at this stage!

Here's the info

F/S DIN PINS:

1 - 0v
2 - +5v
3 - v/CH
4 - Mute
5 - Solo
6 - Loop Led
7 - Loop

A picture of the guts of the footswitch will help and as far as chips and materials I have a tentative list of the chips and their cost

7406
74564
7420
74HC14

If someone can help with that picture would greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers,
