dilema

ive got a ebmm jp6 and an ibanez s470 mij. i really cant tell which one is better. the jp6 was way more expensive but the s470 is old and has that feel. its kinda like precision vs character (not that the eb lacks character or the ibanez is lacking precision). ive decided to use one for an alternate tuning, c standard maybe. which one do you feel is the main axe?

i could do that, its just too much work with the trems and all. im lazy

then just put your ibanez in c. Your music man has piezos right? I dont know how they react to different tunings, i've never tried it on my parker. Good luck with the decision.

thats what i was leaning towards. that was another tough choice. either stop using the single coil of the ibanez or the piezo of the eb. that seems to be the right choice. i just wanted to make sure

The one that speaks to you when you play it should be the main.

If neither speaks to you start looking for a new guitar that does, you will know it when you find it.


When you do find it start getting rid of the others.
