I'm looking at a Mark III black dot that's for sale. It is a simul-class amp, and I think it has the 105 tranny, but I can't tell by just looking at the picture, and I don't want to ask because he'll think it's worth more, and its already overpriced. WELL overpriced.

Is there a way to tell just by looking at the back of the amp?

Here is the post:

That appears to be a DRG C+. The speaker is not original and that picture on the bottom left is not the same amp.
I would ask for the serial number to be sure. Notice the + over the cord and above the middle control the pull rhythm
isn't there. If it is a C+ grab it. That is a good price.
It's hard to tell though. It could be a dot over the cord and the tranny looks to small to be a 105.
If it's a Mark III Dot then it's way over priced.

Early Mark III black stripe series with the "+" mark, serial # 161XX. Pretty penny for a III but alas, still a pretty kick ass amp none the less.
