Differences between 1x12 Thiele and recto 1x12?

I've been told by many to get a 1x12 Thiele in addition to my Mark IV combo. Many reasons for this, I won't bother going into them now.

Anyways, Recto 1x12s and Theile 1x12s are basically the same price, both closed back etc etc.

So what's the difference? I've tried to read up about Thieles but to no avail.

The dimensions and porting of the Thiele are specifically designed to derive the maximum benefit from an EVM12-L speaker, especially the low end. The design provides maximum bass response and thump. I like mine when used in conjunction with another open-back speaker (combo or 1/2 enclosure), but I don't prefer it by itself. Others may disagree on this.
