Difference between Rectoverb series 1 and series 2?

I just bought a ROV series 2 combo and would like to know what is the difference? Thanks

I think just the reverb knob is on the front and not the back??.

I had the series 1, the speaker might be different. I had the black shadow in mine.

The raw mode was added . There may have been some revoicing as well . You can always call mesa to get the definitive answer . I used to own a ROV 2 . very nice amp .

The Series II has:
* The added Raw Mode
* Reverb on the front
* A little more aggressively voiced
* Newer style chrome knobs

That's about it.

Frankencat,

the Rectoverb series II also has the bias switch (for changing between 6L6's and EL34's and external switching (1/4" jacks) for channel, reverb and solo boost.
