Well..I finally got around to doing it, or having a qualified buddy do the job while I watched. I'm impressed. It does open up the 2nd channel. I like the distortion much, much better now. It doesn't seem as tight or compressed, or over done. It feels natural and ballanced w/the 1st ch. I'm still not sure what the 2nd mod is? Just played it a little today. Doing a CD next month. This may have moved it into the #1 position ( currently held by a Venus 6). Hard to beat the clean on the V-6 ( although the cleans on the LSS are just as yummy), but I usually play both amps together , side by side. Now I will just use the 2nd ch on the LSS more. I guess I need to find the Reeder Mod list and get my name on it. It really makes a difference..........Chuck Guitar.....

Congrats on the mod. :D The 2nd Reeder mod is the icing on the cake for the 2nd ch. Although on I'm not sold on the 1st ch with the 2nd mod. It took away some of the lows and sub-harmonics that grabbed my ears the first time I heard it. Btw, there is a forum category just for Lonestars at the top of the page in the modern amp section.
