I'm looking for a gainier, more distorted Channel 1 sound for my Channel 2. Almost like turning on my BB Preamp with Channel 1. The Edge mode just sounds too thin and the Crunch mode too midrangey. I haven't really tried the Mark I mode for this type of tone. Can anyone guide me to this type of Channel 2 tone?

i prefer the mids of crunch, but you could use the preset eq to scoop, and compensate with the eq

Hi Steve,
i found your settings on youtube and i think with the mids dial in and compenate works really well in all channels (little less mids in ch1), im getting the best tones so far with my open back wide body 1x12 (C90), i will be in the rehersal room tomorrow so i have to test it with 2x12 vertical recto (V30)
by the way how do you set up the mix level FX Loop with the Nova Delay?
Thanks

Edge isn't too thin, turn the bass and mids up, and the treble down. Crunch is my least favorite R2 mode. I think you should play with edge more - you can get the bass up high without worrying.

I second this... I tend to like Edge on 10 watts the most with the volume and bass half way up and the gain more than half way up. Sounds great!
