Hey all, I'm stumped. I shipped this to slayer44 and FEDEX lost it from one of their hubs! Anyway, I've opened a trace on it... I have never had problems with FEDEX.

well here's hoping they find it man, I hate shipping stuff. It's really a shame how bad those companies are becoming in regards to losing and misplacing things. They are so focused on time and speed that they have lost any since of quality and care for the package and getting it to it's destination. Good luck , and I hope you added insurance on it.

It wasnt like it was a stomp box. It was 101 pounds and bulky. Im interested to see how this all plays out (obviously). At what point does fedex say, well, we lost it? Or will they be on a perpetual ghost chase? And will they refund the shipping cost on top of the insured amount? The shipping was 100 bucks. If any of you have any experience, chime in. Thanks.

They are really fast at paying back claims if it turns out that way. I sent an amp to canada that they lost and I opened a claim on it. They paid the claim a couple weeks after it was opened. Good luck.

Damn, that's fast. My UPS damage claim took 2-3 months...

Latest update:

They found it! It is scheduled for delivery on Monday, yesssss.
I told slayer44 to inspect it very carefully when it arrives. I don't want anymore monkey business..... 8)

Hopefully fedex is quick with the refund. As of now im out 466 bucks with nothing to show for it. BUT - I have to say that Ursinus has been on top of it the whole way, shipped it the day I paid, and has offered to send a MO whenever he gets confirmation that fedex will approve the claim. Probably the best person Ive bought anything from on the board or ebay, too bad fedex ruined the whole thing. I just hope its soon, Im dying to get my .50 cal + up and running so I can ABY it with my Single Recto.

So after all this, fedex shows up at my door with the 2x12. I havent opened it, but it looks like its in good condition. Saga over (hopefully its intact when I open it.

Update: The cab is in pristine condition, didnt even know he had the cover for it. On a side note, I have never seen a cab packaged this well, it was very impressive. Absolutely bomb proof (even fedex was no match for it). So a big thanks to Ursinus, I dont think anyone else would have been such a great help through this little adventure.
