Hi, I'm an italian boogie fan (sorry for my english )
I want to change the 2 6l6 str 420 mesa power tubes (they're old). What kind of tubes can i use (not only original mesa)?

I like the Svetlana (or sometimes referred to as "SED") "Winged-C" 6L6 in my DC5 ...love them.

And you english is excellent!

I too would recommend the SED Winged-C. Great in my DC-5.

+1 on the SED Winged =C='s 6L6's. I love them, they are a huge upgrade from the Mesa str 420 (which my DC5 had also).

Here's some example of tubes that you can substitute to you original
Mesa tubes. Does not necessarily need to buy it from this vendor, just giving
you an idea of tubes substitution with quoted price here in US.

I like my dc5, but i'm looking for a mesa mark iv. I'm dreaming it!
I've seen that there in usa there are many mark ivs at low price (because euro is stronger than dollar)
What do you think about?

PS: Is there in this forum a section for mesa classifieds?
