My early DC5 with the single button footswitch. It glows red on the footswitch and the yellow on the amp when I am using the clean channel. And when I switch to the lead channel the footswitch goes out and the diode on the amp glows red. Is there a way to get the amp diode and the footswitch diode to BOTH sync and glow red when using the clean channel?

Hm, mine works correctly. Red=Lead Channel.
I'm no eclectrical engineer, but I guess you just have to reverse something inside the box :) The two feet of the LED probably...
I just took a look inside the switch and I can tell you it's, well, very tidy. You can probably desolder the red and white cables coming from the LED and reseolder them in reverse.
My common sense-guess.

I guess I read that wrong.

Reversing the LED leads will not make it work differently. It will make it not work at all usually.

My DC-10 footswitch has a green LED which is on when the amp is in the clean channel. The chassis of the amp has no LED's.

Can't remember what my DC-5 did, but I think it was the same way.
