DC10 Reverb Transformer

Well I think I found my bad reverb problem. I bought a DC10 combo. The owner had the white and gray cables disconnected. The reverb tube is good, and the tank looks good on the inside probably due to mesas little reverb tank cover. Can a reverb transformer blow just like a OT would if it had no load on it? I think the tank is 8Ohms so I would think the transformer could blow just like a regular OT. If any one else thinks this is my problem where can I get a new one. I see mercury magnetics has reverb transformers for fender amps are any of them the same as my DC10 ?

Might be sticking my neck out here but meh.
What do you mean by the reverb transformer?
Do you mean the little Transducers on either side of the springs in the tub?

If so, get a DVM and measure each plug between both contacts.
So you are completing each circuit. If get a reading in Ohms, then you have a circuit.
If you get no reading. You have an open circuit. A wire is broken leading to or inside the transducer.
Might be a good place to start.

I remember using Fender amps years ago without reverb tanks and none of them were damaged because of it.

I read several people on this forum, at least with Mark series amps that
disconnect the leads to the reverb. I've done it myself with no problems.
If you are unsure if the tank is correct, contact Mesa and ask them for
the correct part number. You can buy a new tank roughly $20-30. If the
tank is correct for the amp, make sure the little wires inside are connected.
They are pretty flimsy. I've bought several new reverb tanks on Ebay
and have good luck with them. It doesn't seem reverb transformers blow
very often though I'm sure it's possible. Every problem with reverb I've
ever had was either the tube, tank, cables or corroded/dirty input jacks.

What do you mean by the reverb transformer?

There's actually a little transformer that looks like a power or output transformer it's to the left of the power tubes on the dc10 right in between where the wires from the tank go and the tubes
