I would have to agree. Nowadays, everyone should pack expecting to get the package banged around. I would always pack in two boxes--chassis in one bubble-wrapped, peanutted, and double boxed--and the cabinet in the second one. Sorry to hear this. We've all had our horror stories, I'm sure. Mine involves a Les Paul with a snapped headstock. Friggin' seller didn't even loosen the strings, absolutely no padding, paenuts, newspapers, foam, etc. . . . nothing :x And then he gets POd at UPS. Amazing!
