Hi, I've just bought a DC-5 from ebay but it came with no footswitches. Trying to contact Sadepra (Spanish dealer) had no answer via email, so I've thought in doing it on my own.

Could someone please tell me the diagrams of them? It's "mid" era I think (as I've read the circuitry is different between them), i.e: front toggle switches for Lead/Rhythm, Standby, Power. Front: footswitch in for channel change; Rear: Two outs for EQ (rotatory) and Reverb.

Thanks in advance for any help, comment or suggestion

PS: Mind my English (me Spanish)

I recently bought a DC-10 without a footswitch and I discovered that my 2 button footswitch for my Fender Deluxe Reverb reissue works just fine. You may be able to find one of those pretty easily and much less expensive.

Hi gizmo,

If I recall the last time I looked at the switch's insides, it is a simple open/short type switch. You can confirm by plugging in any guitar cable into the front footswitch jack and shorting the tip to ground ...which should toggle you between channel 1 and 2. All of which means any generic switch will do, and often boogie ones show up on ebay as well.

Oh yeah, and welcome! I continue to love my DC5, going on about 10 years now ....enjoy!
