I'm using this diagram to attempt to make a footswitch for my 1997 DC10 B.

I'm using the jack on the front marked Footswitch, using a TRS cable, have followed the above diagram exactly (minus the resistors for the LEDs) and I only get the EQ switching in/out, but not the channel selection so it stays on the clean channel (but the EQ does switch).

What am I doing wrong? I've seen the Mesa footswitch insides and they don't look dissimilar.

Is there another diagram? Have I goofed with the wiring?

Ok, bit of an update. I followed this thread and copied the wiring there:

Good news is the switching works. Bad news is that, with the footswitch in the jack, there's a bleed through of the lead channel into the rhythm channel, as in the clean sound is there but a lot quieter and in the background of it is the dirty channel, like there's 2 guitars playing the same thing at once.

If I flip the switch to remove the footswitch from the circuit the clean volume is brought back and the bleed through disappears.

This isn't really sustainable so if anyone has a fix I'd love to hear it!

For the record, it all works fine when the footswitch is not involved anywhere which makes me think something in the switching matrix has died... Maybe the LDRs?
