DC-3 head and 1x12 1/2 back cab ...

the saga of the DC-3 is ... i don;t like it as much as my other 3 amps and it's NOT going to get played. DC-3 head with GEQ. standard 1x12 half back with MC-90 speaker. channel footswitch is some random pedal. no pedal for GEQ. i'd say it was a 8 out of 10, simply because i haven;t spent enough time with it ... no obvious physical problems.

prior owner said it had a problem after being on standby awhile. but it would come back "to life" i have experienced no problems, but i haven;t used it for 3 hours. he said he changed all the tubes, then bought a Twin and plays that because he likes the cleans. i will include both sets of his tubes - plus a new set of EL-84 i bought before i picked the amp up. i did notice that the tubes needed to be "reseated" ... i bet this was his problem (idiot).

head - $500

feel free to make me an offer i can't refuse. if you are in South Louisiana and want to meet somewhere ... save some shipping. otherwise, i will bubblewrap the **** out of these, then peanut them, then bulk styrofoam ... you get the drift - it won;t break in shipping even if the American Tourister gorilla get a hold of them. will quote shipping per my UPS account - exact charges. if interested - prompt for pics. lost the old ones on old phone.

I'll put in my $.02 for the DC-3. Great little amps! I'd argue it's one of best tube amps you can buy for $500 or so.

open to offers - will accept a cashiers check to avoid PP fees to cust costs if you want to wait until it clears. also ... i am averse to shipping USPS - but the shipping would be cheaper. i just hate to ship that way becaues it's impossible to track.

don't ask me to eat the shipping. i do get a major discount on UPS ground - can give you a quote on the charges. i don;t charge for packaging and what not. Exactly what i pay. thanks.

it's a 22" wide body cab - the DC-3 head is 18" wide so you have about 2" on each side ... hope that helps.
