DC-3 five band graphic not working right

Hi all,

I've got a 1rst gen dc-3 (with the knob for eq select). two of the eq sliders do nothing. I have a schematic, a meter and soldering gear. Anything to look for in particular to try and fix this beast! Ps if this has been covered I apologize but I did not get a lot of helpful hits out of the search function.

open the amp and check the pcb that hold the graphic eq. Check out if there is any bad/burned components.
