Dating a Trem-O-Verb

How do you tell the date it was manufactured? It's R-010056 on the tag on the chassis, was thinking it was the 56 one built in 2001?

to know the month and date, unscrew the chassis, pull it out, and look for a date written in marker. Just don't touch the big blue capacitors or you may get fried!

i had a 97 in the 9000s and i have a 94 in the 4664 range so i would imagine its about a 98

Mine is in the R-017xxx range and is from May of 2001 if that helps.
