Long story short....

I own a Dual Rec 3 channel, that is relatively new (maybe around 100 hours use) and recently some IDIOT had decided to turn my 'solo' output level all the way up to the max, unknown to myself that it had been tampered with...

The amp was warm and in use, and then hit the solo switch, and the thing was insanely loud, then stopped playing briefly and the pickup squeal was pretty well instant as to be expected, the switch was then quickly hit again to shut it up!

In all we are talking maybe 10 seconds or so that the amp was in use with this massive 'solo' output level, with Ch3 Modern volume level at around 10 o'clock...

After immediately fixing my settings, there have been no changes in the amps behaviour AT ALL and I have used it at loud band rehearsal levels...

So I am wondering if this should be of concern to myself???

If people that have experience and knowledge could share opinion on this it would be greatly appreciated!

I dont think it would hurt it . they're pretty dam tough and especially if it wasnt for a long time

Your amp is fine. If turning it up all the way would hurt, Mesa probably wouldn't let you turn it up 'all the way'....

yes, I agree, and yeah I guess so!

Time will tell, sounded pretty great at rehearsal tonight, even with dead strings on my axe...
