I have a Mark IIB. As I understand it I can get run a volume pedal thru the effects loop and this control's all of the volume/gain of the amp.
I've been looking at the Ernie Ball volume pedals and I don't know if a 25K or a 250 K pedal is the correct one to use for this application.

All suggestions welcome.

Thank You

hi.
Reference plugging volume pedal into the effects loop to control gain etc.
the way I read it is that you plug the volume pedal into the pre-amp out power amp in socket you'll find it on the actual chassis one is for the rythm/lead footpedal and the other is the pre-amp out power amp in.don't quote me but I would have thought the 250k would be the correct one as 25k would not give you a great deal of range to play about with and most volume pots are either 250k or 500k I suppose if it was wrong you could always change the value of pot in the pedal. hope this helps.
