Hey quick question, will the TriAxis switch the channels on the 2:90 for me as well as switching banks on my rack fx at the same time?

Basically someone told me I needed to get rid of my rocktron xpression and get a G Major for the channel switching capabilities. Do I really need to do that in order to get the full functions out of a TriAxis/2:90 with my midi controller? (Rocktron MidiMate). Thanks.

The triaxis has switching loops that you can use to turn modern, deep, and half power on and off. You can set them on or off for any given MIDI program. All you need is a MIDI footcontroller. I used to use an old Art X-15 Ultrafoot. Worked great. Just setup all your tones as separate MIDI programs and configure your MIDI controller to send program change messages. Plug your footcontroller into the MIDI in of the triaxis and connect the MIDI in of your effects unit to the MIDI thru of the triaxis. That way, the program change messages sent from your footcontroller get sent to your effects unit as well as the Triaxis. Read the Triaxis user manual. It's really good. Good luck.

dont think you need any extra gear
just get any switch to ground or even make them out of 1/4 cable if need be
