Bought my first 60W IIC+ with Reverb and graphic and I absolutely love it. Ton's of gain and the sweetest singing high end
without getting muddy on the bottom. Best cleans ever !!! Came with STR-415's and Original Tungsram ECC83's in V1-V4.
The pre's have never been taken out and the pins are tighter than a ticks ass.
Cleanest amp ever....
Did a cap job on it already and it's probably going into a GTS Headshell on top of a 1X12 Boogie Thiele until I get my quote back
from Sweetwater on an Imbuya Headshell and matching Imbuya 1X12 Thiele. I think this is going to be my gig rig, if I ever gig.
Years ago I had one of the first IIC+ 60W reverb's made and it was pretty cool, but that graphic EQ still gets me every time.
I just picked up four NOS STR-415's and two NOS STR-416's, so they are going in the #1 Simul next week for comparison.
Seeing JB's stacked with old original power tubes put a bug up my ass. Thanks Joey !!! I'm $ 700 lighter in the wallet on tubes, you
Viper drivin' bastage....
A million thanks to GTS for the headshell. I'm getting to old to carry Imbuya 1X12's and pulling the chassis to change a preamp tube.
George is a lifesaver and the craftsmanship is 100%.
