I am wondering if people have found differences between the Recto Recording preamp and an Dual Rec amplifier?

Things like touch sensitivity, anything different between the two in comparison?

Thanks,

Bruce

The Rec-Pre is supposed to have a much improved clean channel. I can tell you from owning an old "Solo" head (2 channel) that it had a terrible clean channel. It always sounded flat, uninspiring and sort of boxy to me. I prefer the Trem-O-Verb's cleans. The newer 3 channel Rec heads have a better clean for sure. The Rec-Pre is supposed to have this clean channel (like the 3 channel heads) Other then that I would imagine they are very similar in tone/gain/sound/EQ-ing.
