Clicking Sound left Side of Head When Powering Off

Hi,

I have a new Boogie Mark V head, still getting acquainted with it. Clean sound was easy to dial-in, sounds fantastic. Experimenting with Channel 3 to get the distortion I want.

Anyway, when I power off I put it on Standby for about 30-45 seconds or so, then turn the power off. When I do flick the power toggle to off, the fan turns off then immediately afterward I hear a distinct "click" near the left side of the head, seems to be more toward the rear.

This all happens probably in less than a second from turning the power off.

The amp powers off fine, and it starts up fine, seems to sound normal...just wondering if the "click" is to be expected or if it's something I should be concerned about.

Sounds like relays turning off. I've heard people mention the same thing about their Mark V's, on here over the years. It's normal.

The turning indicator in your car is a relay going on and off. That's what makes the click sound.
