So 6L6's + V30 = The cleans I want AND the crunch I want!?

So either get the 525 and change the tubes or get the 550 and change the speaker?

Hey - I've got both 5:50 combo running thru c90 speaker plus a 2x12 cab with V30's.
Yes there's a tone difference and I prefer the 2x12 myself but................

I got no idea what tone you want for your crunch exactly so there's no guarantee a speaker change to V30's will deliver what you desire. I suggest you test a 5:50 thru v30 somewhere to check

well the video maker went overboard on the delay - it's a poor way to showcase an amp but..........
the base tone is reasonable for a youtube video - which are always useless anyways for deciding on the tone of anything :mrgreen:
