clean channel troubles

I'm havin a hard time dialing in my clean channel on my tremoverb dual rec. have had many compliments on my modern channel and i have it dialed in perfect...but not so much my clean. any suggestions on settings?

Try dialing it like this:

Presence: 1:00
Volume: 11:00
Gain: 9:00
Bass: 2:00
Mid: 11:00
Treble: 1:00-2:00 (to taste)

All settings clockface.
