Ironically, I also own cats and would not like to see that happen.

mastiff ... is that like Marmaduke comic strip type dog? That is one humongous dog breed. My brother's in-law had one.

Koprofag, I looked at the link you gave me and I found out my brother's brother-in-law's dog is an America Mastiff / Great Dane that why that dog was humongous. Thanks for the link.

Heres my American bulldog, Lennox

Hes 6 months old and weighs a whopping 80 pounds.

Woot, American bulldog! Extremely cute.

I was about to get an all white Scott-type hybrid, but figured he was a bit on the working side and too big as I was really looking for a smaller alternative to bull mastiff..

Awesome dog! Bet he's a real worker.

Ya Lennox has energy. We dont 'work' him though, just alot of hard play and walks. They are actually considered a medium exercise dog, they are just bullheaded and harder to train beacuse of how independent they are, hes awsome though, major personality.

That was just before Halloween this last year. They were a little over a year old. Stella is a sweetheart. She has remained a little puppy-looking while Buster is still growing. They are Rott-n-Labs. They are actually brother and sister form the same litter. Stella got mostly Lab where as Buster took on more of the Rott look though his muzzle is a little long from the Lab side. We opted not to dock his tail because he doesn't look Rott enough. His head would have looked more like Dobe mix than Rott mix had we done his ears so we left those alone too.
