Usually they are just o-rings or heatshrink tubing.

no they are not stock..... I simply replaced the red and green leds with blue ones... and swapped the red jewel w/ a blue one....

Hmmm.... I can't be positive but I think they are 5mm. Don't quote me on that though. Best thing to do is take the LED out and measure...
