Hey guys,
I'm going to call about this on monday, but, since it's Friday and they're not open, I figured I'd try here first.
Every once in a while, I will turn on my Triple Rec (everything hooked up, speaker cable to cab with proper impedance load, footswitch, guitar cable) and for some reason,
NONE of the channel lights will come on. All of the power tubes will light up, along with the Rectifier tubes, can't tell if the preamps are on, because I have the metal shields around them. The amp appears to be on and running, no funky smells or sounds, but, no channel lights come on, on the both the head AND the footswitch. NO sound comes out when standby is flipped to "on" either. I'll turn it off for a while, then turn it back on, and it'll work fine again. Do you think it's a tube problem, a footswitch cable problem (although it has done it maybe once or twice when the footswitch wasn't hooked up), or a wiring issue? The preamp tubes are kind of old, looking to order some new ones in the near future. Just wondering if you guys had any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.
