I have been using the Tweed mode with the Bold engaged at 90 watts and no Graphic EQ.

IMO it has a snappy feel to it and is very dynamic. Very reactive to pick velocity and guitar volume. Also if you shove a distortion pedal or overdrive down it's throat it works pretty well.

Tweed mode is one of my favorites. I use it in 10 watts and EL34's. I crank the volume to drive the power tubes, it sounds glorious. And I agree about using an overdrive, I shove a tube screamer down its throat and it gets even better! Great for classic rock stuff 8)

For bluesy stuff I will turn loop off and set to Fat and turn the volume up around 9-10 o'clock WOW! feel the response and pick attack volume on guitar adds a lot of character up and down. Think Pride & Joy..
