Hi guys, i am changing my old speakers out of my old mesa grill cab, which are 16 ohm speakers, i am replacing with vintage 30s, should the ohm match the same?, then the wiring should stay the same, theres one wire connecting to each speaker white and black, what set up is this?, thanks Lee.

please be more clear

if you have one white wire coming from the jack and connecting to all "+" terminals on each speaker, and one black wire coming from the jack connecting to all "-" terminals on each speaker, then you have all 4 speakers in parallel with a 4 ohm total impedence load.

your only other real option is series-parallel wiring, which would give you a total impedence load of 16 ohms, and your wiring would look similar to this:
