Cascading Pres in Mark 1 mode...

I'm a M1RI owner. Just read the MV manual and noticed that there is only one gain control, even in Mark 1 mode. How do you fine tune the relative gain of the two stages?

It's only a setting that is supposed to sound like MK 1...it's not going to offer the same fine tuning adjustibility as the actual Mark 1

I dont mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone actually gotten the mark 1 mode to sound good? I like the amount of gain it has, but its just so dark, i feel like something is just covering up my speaker.

I use sliders on MkI mode to get rid of the bass/darkness

Just guessing, but probably because the amp is complicated enough...I mean look at the internals of the **** thing:

Just listen to the amp. It's easy to make it sound good.

It will be (relatively) easy to mod a Mark V to have drive/gain controls for the third channel. I imagine it will be easy to do so on Mark I mode too.
