Dude, WTF? I'm sorry to hear that. The joys of living on Southside, I guess. You'll learn never to have a nice radio in your car either. I sure did.

Sell some guitars. How many do you actually need?

Or, sell the Marshall. Where can you play where you can really turn it up to get the best out of it? Bad timing, though.

Sorry to hear that man! I hope they find the POS that did this soon

I would definitely ask you to keep the Mark V because if I were in your position I would try to sell some stuff that I don't use too much. I've had the MKV for less than a day now and I know it's a keeper, and you're getting one in Zinc Bronco!!; and you've waited so long for a custom amp. Keep it, man!

That sucks man. I know your pain all too well. My wife had a car stolen a few years back. It would have not been so bad, but it was a car that we got out of her dad's salvage yard, stripped the paint and hung new sheetmetal ourselves, new engine and transmission, custom interior .......etc. It normally stayed in the garage, but she drove it to work for 2 days while I did some work on her Camaro. The second night the car was stolen out of our driveway by a 16 year old repeat offender car thief. He was caught only AFTER he managed to TOTAL the car running from the police. He has some very unique tattos on his forearems. If I ever see that ********** again, he has a severe beatdown coming. I don't care if I am 90 years old, cruising through Wal-Mart on my walker, he's got one coming.

it was parked RIGHT BEHIND my ******* house. like, thirty feet from the back door. we have a little parking spot with gravel on it where the three of us who live here park our cars.

one roommate got some water to drink at 4:00 this morning, the car was there. When he left for work at 7:15, however, it was not there. He thought i'd left to get some booty (which has happened from time to time  ) and didn't wake me up.

so, 9:30 rolls around, I go take my morning pee and peek out the window (we can see the parking area from there) and...

...wait didn't i park my car there...

...wait what is that glass there...

...wait i'm ******* sure i parked there...

...WTF       ...

And the car was paid for, so I only had liability. I haven't even had that thing a year. I was starting to grow fond of Hondas.

and i'd like to note, I lived five blocks from the ghetto (avondale) when I lived in forest park and not a god damn thing happened in four years. six months here and poof. 3000lb automobile vanishes.

that sucks, ive had the stereo stolen from my car, infront of my house, i know the feeling (not to that extreme though).

Well, even though you want the V badly, how unique are your guitars? i mean i wouldnt sell the guitars if they are special. but if its a standard american strat and 59 Les paul, then they can go. Otherwise the V can go.. i figure if its just a standard run of the mill production piece you can always buy it in the future (well lets assume the Mark V is not a limited run, but won't be 17 years either) and standard guitars are the same. Now if you have guitars that are worn / broken in and work done to them to make them yours, I suggest not parting with them, for you may get sellers remorse from that.

That's so f-ing wrong dude. I hate people that do **** like that!! I really hope it turns up and you get to keep your amp. Best of luck. Just when you get ahead some worthless piece of **** takes that away...

The crazy part of the whole deal is that I would have gladly paid the guy $100 to steal and burn the Camaro on that very same night.

Victor, did you know that you can write the theft off on your taxes? It is somewhere in the itemized deductions. Sell the Marshall, and keep the Boogie if at all possible.

damn man, sorry to hear that. maybe getting the mark5 will cheer you up!

F*&K man im so sorry to hear that. i really hope that something happens along your way to make up for that ****

man, that really sucks!!

I had my car blown up by probably some young stupid punk kid.

it was a beater '86 Chevy Celebrity wagon...parked in my girls driveway while we were sleeping. I woke up at like 2:00am, figured I'd head back home (I only love like 4 mins from her) and came outside to glass covering the driveway. Open my door and find a huge hole blown in my seat, windshield shattered, burns all over the ceiling and upholstery, back window totally blown out, the dash all busted up, and the doors were even buckled out at the top about 1/2". I had left my window down a few inches and the punk must have just decided to mess with a random person....either that, or they thought I was someone else (person I bought the car off of may have had a bad rep....)

Needless to say, I was PISSED and never found out who did it. Never will. Glad none of my gear was in there.

it sucked, and I sold the car for $125 to go into a demo derby.

now rocking a '92 Buick LeSabre which is probably my most decent ride ever.

too bad I cant afford the V, or I'd be driving that baby around town....

I also found out that the Marshall has ALL THREE transformers blown (choke, ot, pt). I bought it for cheap still, but now all three are ultimately going to be replaced the choke and pt are installed and that's how the tech determined the OT is bad. (first time in 25 years he's seen one with all three blown.  )

so long story short with that it's going to be worth way less than i thought. i only bought the thing to flip anyway. $350 for a ptp marshall! but now it won't be a $1500 amp, it'll be a $1000 amp. or less i guess.

it's kinda worth it more to mod the marshall a tad, sell the V, roll with the halfstack for a while and recoup some losses...

happy birthday to me hah. maybe the amp will arrive and the car will be recovered on the 17th, my birthday. that'd be some ****

I know this isn't the time for jokes, so this is a serious suggestion.

Get a girlfriend with a car and use that when you need to move your amp. I have a Datsun 260z that doesn't
even fit a 4x12 cab in so I use my girls lancer to cart my gear around.

That sucks dude. I know what it's like to be kicked when you're down. The world is a nasty bitch with cobwebs on her vagina
sometimes, but it gets better (at least for a bit) before it gets **** again.
