Can you use EL34s in a Mark IV?

I looked at the manual briefly on line and didn't see an option for EL34s on the Mark IV. There was an e-bay for a Mark IV and the seller said you could use EL34s as well as the stock 6L6s. Just curious - I don't own a Mark IV.

Go to the Mesa site and download the owners manual.

You can use EL34's in the outside tube positions. I think the amp sounds better all 6L6 but it is fun to experiment!!!
