The Road King is "better" than the Dual rectifier, Triple rectifier, Roadster, and so on right? . Also isn't the Road king mesa's most versatile amp?

If you consider having every feature (although mostly useless for most people) available on an amplifier to label it "better" than another, then the answer would be yes. Can you sound just as good with any of the other amps you listed? You bet.

They all have similar sounds...The Road King is the most versatile, but that doesn't mean it has the best tone out of all of them. It's all about compromise. A 1992 rectifier will sound a lot better on the gain channels, but it will have terrible cleans and no versatility. It's all about what's important to you.

That is... the Road King II will be better overall. it incorporates the Lone Star clean channel.
